Service Information and Bookings

Service Descriptions:

We take great care to ensure that the descriptions of our services on the Website are accurate and detailed. Our virtual design package is offered at a flat fee, and its scope is fully detailed on the Website. For our other services (Turnkey Design, and Short-Term Rental Interior Design), the scope may vary depending on the individual client and project. We will work closely with you to define the specific scope and deliverables before confirming your booking.

Bookings:

When you book a service through the Website or by contacting us directly, you are making an offer to engage our services subject to these Terms. We reserve the right to accept or reject your booking request at our sole discretion. A confirmation of your booking will be provided to you upon our acceptance.

Pricing and Payment:

  • Pricing: All prices for our services are displayed in the currency specified on the Website and are subject to change without notice. We may offer packages, discounts, or promotional pricing from time to time.

  • Payment Methods: We accept payments through Stripe, a secure third-party payment processor, via the DesignFiles platform. For larger payments, we may also accept wire transfers. The available payment methods will be specified during the booking process.

  • Payment Processing: By providing your payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees through Stripe or process your wire transfer, as applicable. You agree to comply with Stripe's terms and conditions when using their payment services.

  • Payment authorization and Responsibility: You confirm that all credit card information provided through DesignFiles and Stripe is accurate and that you are authorized to use the card for this purchase. You agree to be responsible for all charges incurred, including applicable taxes, and ensure that your credit card company will honor the payment.

  • Payment Security:  We utilize secure third-party platforms, DesignFiles and Stripe, to process payments. These platforms adhere to industry-standard security measures to protect your payment information during transmission and processing. We do not store any credit card information on our servers.

  • Refunds and Cancellations: Our policies regarding refunds and cancellations will be communicated to you during the booking process or as outlined in a separate agreement.

Data Security

We prioritize the security of your information and utilize secure platforms to protect your data.

  • Squarespace and HTTPS: Our website is powered by Squarespace, which uses HTTPS with a valid SSL certificate. This means that all communication between your browser and our website is encrypted, ensuring that any information you submit, such as contact details or booking requests, is transmitted securely.

  • Acuity Scheduling: Our booking calendar is powered by Acuity Scheduling, which meets HIPAA Security Rule requirements. This ensures that any personal information collected during the booking process is handled with industry-standard security measures.

  • Third-Party Disclaimer: Please note that while we take reasonable measures to protect your information, we are not responsible for any errors or security breaches that may occur within the Acuity Scheduling, DesignFiles, or Stripe platforms, which are governed by their respective security and privacy policies.

  • Website Availability: We strive to keep the Website available at all times, but we do not guarantee that the Website will be uninterrupted or error-free.

We will make reasonable efforts to mitigate such delays, but we are not responsible for delays or disruptions beyond our control. We will, however, keep you informed of any potential delays and work with you to adjust timelines as needed.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Website (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) exceed the actual amount paid by you for the services under these Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Website shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Petaluma/Sonoma County, California.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on the Website and indicate the date of the latest revision at the top of this page. The new Terms will be effective immediately upon posting on the effective date indicated in the new Terms, as applicable, and apply to any

further use of the website and services, whether you are a new or existing user. For material changes to these Terms, we may also notify you by email or through a prominent notice on the Website. Your continued use of the Website following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
